Join us for an engaging Autumn LCA lunch with our special guest and after-lunch speaker, Dr Martin Scurr. Celebrated for his distinguished career in both NHS and private practice and his long-running Daily Mail medical advice column, Dr Scurr will be sharing insights and unflinching views on the changing private practice landscape, not least on the erosion of patient care as insurers tighten their grip on referrals. Expect an unvarnished and thought-provoking discussion on ethics and continuity of care, and a challenge to all of us who care about the future of independent practice.
LCA Friday Lunches are relaxed, informal and informative occasions for meeting and mingling with colleagues and addressing some of our shared concerns. Guest numbers are limited to enable candid and useful round-table discussion under the Chatham House Rule.
The venue is Royal Society of Medicine, Hewitt Room, and Lunch places (£85 pp for 3 courses, including wine) will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Please RSVP to office@london-consultants.org as soon as possible and by no later than 29 September.
