Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to bring you up to date with some of the work, events and developments that the LCA has been engaged with to support independent consultants and their patients in our latest and last newsletter for 2021, which you can find attached below.

The LCA has, like so many of you, your patients and other industries, been significantly affected by the pandemic. It has naturally affected everyone in varying degrees and as an organisation we have had to adjust our operations and re-evaluate how tocontinue to support our consultants and patients where finances are tight. We have endeavoured to continue to advocate for the patients and consultants: appealing to the PMIs and the CMA and working with the IHPN to support consultants back into work so that patients can access the care they need.
