The first of LCA’s post summer Doctors Mess Lunches was held at the Royal Society of Medicine on Friday September 15th. LCA Chairman Mr Ellis Downes was pleased to welcome Dr Ian Gargan, CEO of PHIN, who demonstrated an impressive understanding of the issues and challenges facing consultants in relation to the CMA Order requirements. This intimate lunch was conducted under Chatham House Rules which allowed for a lively and frank discussion.

Open to all LCA members, Mr Downes was particularly pleased to also welcome new LCA members, who were appreciative to experience the support and sector knowledge provided by the LCA.
