A round-up of 2020
LCA Newsletter
2020 has certainly been a difficult, strange and trying time for everyone in a myriad of manner and form. The healthcare sector has been shaken and pushed to the very limits by the coronavirus and continues to hold its grasp as 2021 begins to unfurl. The two new variants of COVID-19 have set back the private sector in its ability to practice and see to its patients, though we maintain hope that with the three vaccines, the light at the end of the tunnel is not as far off as it may seem, and we will be able to resume seeing patients and assist in reducing the mounting waiting lists.
The LCA will continue to support the sector: hospital providers, consultants and most importantly, patients with its work with our sister organisation the Federation of Independent Practitioner Organisations (FIPO) and the Independent Healthcare Providers Network (IHPN) as well as bring you informative content in 2021 on a virtual setting and hopefully, in person when it is safe to do so.
Here you may click on our newsletter detailing the activities we engaged with over the last year.
If you missed any of our events, you may find some were recorded and uploaded onto our YouTube channel, which you may access here.
As always, take care and stay safe.
